1BR/1BA Walk Downtown, Riverwalk, Golf, Zoo & Pearl

The place was clean. The bath towels were clean and fluffy. The thermostat was a google. We had never operated one. There were no instructions or identifying marks to tell us that. We had issues with cooling. We were without ac for several hours but finally got it resolved. Response was slow and some questions were never answered by host. The bed was very firm which I couldn’t rest on. The distance between the couch and tv did not work with the small set . And no where was it stated that it was a duplex. There was no yard and no fence. The wood floor was in very bad condition. The side door was locked and we couldn’t figure out how to open it. Not answered by host. So only one way in and out. There were bedside lamps but only one was close enough to plug in and since there were no table lamps in the living room, we moved it into that room. The tub didn’t drain properly and the shower head could have used a vinegar bath. Altogether it was a bust for us. The amount of money spent was definitely not worth it. There were additional fees that showed up on our cc bill.Our restful weekend away from home was so uncomfortable that we left a day early. I really wanted to like this place so we would have a place to go to get away but it is true. There’s no place like home.

Great location ! Very cute inside. Shower head didn’t put out much water. Wish we would have know the doors to the bedroom were glass and had no privacy curtains/shades. The shared driveway was blocked one night and was unable to park in the garage without blocking the other tenant. All worked out because we left before them.

This home was so beautiful, peaceful, and very spacious. Host was very nice Nd has amazing communication. Definitely kid-friendly.

This is a very cute and adorable older home. Is perfect for a couple. It does have a fold out couch if you have children to sleep on it.It is within 10 minutes to all the attractions at the Riverwalk, America towers, the Alamo, etc. it is 25 minutes to SeaWorld of San Antonio.The host is amazing at communication. They’re very nice and respond super fast if you have an issue or any questions, I would stay here again.You do have to be careful with the front door. If you don’t lock it when you’re back at the house the door will pop open so it does need to be locked from the inside and staying in. I would recommend the host to put a TV up in the bedroom. I usually have to fall asleep with the TV on and it was a little different and difficult for me only because there was not a TV in the bedroom but, like I said I would still stay at this property again. It is a super cute house and an older Neighbor my wife and I went on a mini walk and just enjoyed looking at the scenery in the history. My only CON on this adorable house is it is only a block from all of the bars so we had one night where we could hear all of the music that was coming from the bars, but it was a Saturday night so we took that into consideration.

The neighborhood was Very relaxing and pet- friendly We really had no need to move our vehicle due to Great location walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants, food trucks and nightlife choices. We really enjoyed our stay. 5
